Led the technical response to an FBI-identified data breach and helped build a substantially stronger long-term information-security program, including dedicated leadership, governance, monitoring, authentication, risk assessment, incident response, tabletop exercises, and business-continuity planning.

About Mark
Mark St. John, PMP, is a former healthcare CIO and operations leader with four decades of technology experience and more than 20 years in healthcare leadership. Before founding Wilson Pond Consulting, he spent more than two decades at MaineGeneral Health in progressively broader leadership roles, including Chief Information Officer, Administrative Director of Operations, Administrative Director of Technology, and Director of IT Infrastructure.
His experience spans healthcare IT strategy, enterprise EHR planning, clinical and business systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, ERP governance, clinical technology and AI, facilities and capital projects, emergency response, and healthcare operations.
That breadth shapes the perspective Wilson Pond brings to advisory work. Mark has been the executive making the decision, the client hiring consultants, the leader presenting major investments to senior leadership and Boards, the sponsor working through vendor and organizational issues, and the person responsible for what happens after a recommendation becomes an operating reality.
